I've been making jewelry as a hobby since I was a little girl. I wear it and give it as gifts, but now I think I have gone beyond those limits. I love making all kinds of jewelry, but didn't have an outlet for them. I love putting together all the different combinations of colors and textures. Each new combination just leads me to more new and different ones. 

I have been sewing since I was a little girl also. My grandfather taught me about the love of beading and my grandmother & great-grandmother instilled a love of sewing in me. I have been making clothing since I was in high school; too long ago to talk about.I have decided that if I am going to continue doing the things I love so much, I have to find an outlet to help support my habit :-) After being disillusioned with EBAY, I found this wonderful site. I met Debra, the artist behind all these wonderful creations, this summer when we were working together to form a group at our church. When I found out she painted and not just "Happy Little Trees" I was in love! I immediately order a few prints and have a wishlist going. My only problem is, I don't have enough wall space!

Anyhow, to tell you a little about Debra, she is a former first grade teacher and now a SAHM. She has always lived here in Alaska and gets most of her inspiration from the wonderful wildlife she gets to see right from her backyard.

Monday, Monday

Well, It is definitely Monday! I hope everyone had a good, productive weekend? Ours had a very slow start in the productivity department. My 'lil guy got some sort of stomach bug and was just sicky sick. I hate it when they are sick, it's really hard to do anything for them. I'm so glad he is doing much better, but I think we will be chillin' a bit while he rests up.

We got a ton of snow yesterday & today, which is just BEAUTIFUL! I'm loving it and it is totally making me want to craft all kinds of Christmas stuff!  I have a craft fair (my first one), that I'm busy getting ready for, but then I'm hoping to be able to get some new stuff in my Etsy shop for Christmas.

I was able to get our grocery shopping done yesterday and when I came home, my dearest most wonderful hubby had started to put up the Christmas Decorations for me!!! I was so surprised, it literally took my breath away! I can't wait until we get it all done. I have always loved Christmas, but it seems even more fun with little ones.

I love, love snowmen. These are just a few of my oldest, favorite ones!

This is a picture of my little guy last year. He was just discovering everything and LOVED the lights. He talked about all the lights until March!
